SOWAG Trackside Terminal

The SOWAG trackside terminal is an operator panel used for switching on and off the stationary power supply for railcars. It is a key component of the entire SOWAG system.

To activate the stationary power supply, the railcar must be connected to the power post and authorized. Authorization is carried out using an RFID reader and identification cards. If the system detects that the cable has been unplugged from the socket or if there is a power supply failure, the controller can automatically cut off the power. In emergency situations, the stationary power supply can also be turned off using an emergency button.

All devices are customized to meet user needs. We ensure an individual approach to each implementation.
