We design all necessary facilities related to power supply for both railway lines with 3kV DC traction and 2x25 kV 50 Hz traction.
3 kV DC
Traction substations – multidisciplinary projects covering the substation building (architecture, structure, all necessary installations), substation site development, and external installations.
The traction substation can be powered by a medium voltage of 15 kV or 20 kV, or a high voltage of 110 kV.
For substations powered at 110 kV, the project scope includes:
- an outdoor or indoor GIS 110 kV switchgear with protection systems,
- an indoor 15 or 20 kV (6 kV) switchgear equipped with protection and automation,
- rectifier transformer stations 110/15(20)/2x1.3 kV or 15(20)/2x1.3 kV,
- 110/15(20) kV power transformer stations (optional),
- reactor stations for reactive power compensation on the 110 kV supply line (optional),
- traction rectifiers and 3.3 kV DC switchgear with automation and protection systems,
- auxiliary transformers 15(20)/0.4 kV and auxiliary switchboards RZ 0.4 kV AC and RS 220V DC powering all building installations (lighting, control and signaling, heating, and ventilation).
All substation equipment is covered by a remote supervision and control system as well as monitoring.
Additionally, we carry out projects related to the substation:
- 3 kV DC MV supply lines,
- 1 kV DC return cable lines,
- 1 kV AC supply and control lines for traction network switches,
- drainage of transformer stations with protection against the release of oil substances into the environment.
3 kV DC sectioning cabins – multidisciplinary projects covering the cabin building (usually a prefabricated concrete container) with internal installations and site development.
For sectioning cabins, the project scope includes:
- the cabin (container) building,
- 3 kV DC switchgear with automation and protection systems,
- building’s auxiliary systems.
Additionally, we carry out projects related to the cabin:
- 3 kV DC MV supply lines,
- 1 kV DC grounding cables,
- 1 kV AC supply and control lines for traction network switches.
2x25 kV 50 Hz
Traction substations – multidisciplinary projects covering the substation building (architecture, structure, all necessary installations), substation site development, and external installations.
The substation project scope includes:
- a 110 kV outdoor or indoor GIS supply switchgear with protection systems,
- an indoor or outdoor 2x25 kV switchgear equipped with protection and automation,
- 110/2x25 kV transformer stations,
- an alternative solution with a static converter to ensure symmetrical phase load on the supply side,
- reactor stations for reactive power compensation on the 110 kV supply line (optional),
- auxiliary transformers 25/0.4 kV and auxiliary switchboards RZ 0.4 kV AC and RS 220V DC powering all building installations (lighting, control and signaling, heating, and ventilation).
Additionally, we carry out projects related to the substation:
- MV supply lines,
- 1 kV AC supply and control lines for traction network switches,
- drainage of transformer stations with protection against the release of oil substances into the environment.
All substation equipment is covered by a remote supervision and control system as well as monitoring.

For sectional cabins, the project scope includes:
- the cabin (container) building,
- autotransformer stations,
- 2x25 kV AC switchgear with automation and protection systems,
- building’s auxiliary systems.
Additionally, we carry out projects related to the cabin:
- MV supply lines,
- 1 kV DC grounding cables.
