Sesto has introduced its own traction rectifier, meeting the company's highest standards. Our diode rectifier is designed for powering tramway electrical traction systems.
It is available in two versions:
Compact (mounted to the back of the transformer)
Enclosed (in a freestanding cabinet)
It was designed for traction substations created by Sestos' experienced designers.
The PTT is a 12-pulse tramway traction rectifier. It features:
built-in fault detection signaling for diode short circuits
capability to measure output voltage and current
temperature measurement in the rectifier unit and inside the transformer using PT100 or PT1000 probes
interfaces: 2x CAN, Ethernet, RS485, as well as relay outputs and digital inputs
The user interface is based on the Rapid series controller with a touch display.
