From September 17 to 19, 2024, the XV International Scientific and Technical Conference MET 2024 took place at the Warsaw University of Technology, during which the topic of rationalizing energy consumption in electrified transport and high-speed rail (KDP) was discussed.
On the second day of the conference, in a panel related to traction power supply—design, construction, and operation of AC/DC traction infrastructure—Zbigniew Wrzesiński, Deputy Director of Electric Power Projects, delivered a lecture. The representative of Sesto discussed the company's experiences in designing control systems for autotransformer cabins and disconnectors in 2x25kV AC systems.
This topic is very relevant in the context of plans to implement high-speed rail in Poland. Therefore, we are pleased to have participated in the event organized by SITK and the Warsaw University of Technology as a Gold Partner of the Conference, having the opportunity to share our insights on the aforementioned projects.
