The new "Grundmanna" substation, designed by Sesto in collaboration with MIA Architekci, along with a stop in Katowice, is now operational. Residents of the Silesian agglomeration can take advantage of public transport on the new tram line along Grundmanna Street, powered by the newly built "Grundmanna" substation.
The substation is one of the most beautiful and modern traction substations in Europe. We are proud to have participated in this project as designers, and also, at the request of the SPAW-TOR company from Kraków, as the contractors for the electrical equipment of the substation, including integrating the facility into remote operation with CDM in Chorzów.
